CaptureFit, founded by Rudolph Koegelenberg in 2016 in Cape Town, South Africa, is an online fitness events platform providing online registration, payments, live leaderboards and heat management for both in-person and online events. Since 2025 we've been based in Melbourne, Australia, supporting organisers around the world.
We built CaptureFit out of a need for flexible, easy-to-use event management software. Before CaptureFit we'd built a string of once-off solutions to suit specific events, and after enough of those — and enough time spent alongside organisers seeing what they actually needed — we decided to build one platform that could work for any event. Clash in the North and Fittest in Cape Town were our first two event partners, and Octiv Fitness partnered with us to offer their clients events at a discounted rate.
Our platform takes the stress out of organising and running a fitness event, big or small, local or international. No more manually wrangling athletes, workouts and scores across a pile of spreadsheets — entries, divisions, heats, schedules and scoring all live in one place, and the leaderboard updates as scores come in.
Everything works on any device and is built mobile-first, so your athletes can enter from anywhere, judges can capture scores from the floor, and friends and family can follow the standings from home when they can't make it to the event.
Now in Melbourne. In 2025 we relocated to Melbourne, Australia. CaptureFit continues to support our South African event partners while we work with organisers across Australia and New Zealand — same platform, same team, a new timezone.
